The international chain of sports stores, Decathlon, was looking for a clear, coherent image that would help it stay in the minds of Polish customers for good. So how to breathe the Polish spirit into the brand and at the same time encourage Poles to play sports?
We have created The Cathlons - a nice team of "everyday athletes", ordinary people for whom sport is above all a source of fun. Scenes from their sports achievements with music from "The Journey of Mr. Kleks" - classics of Polish cinema for children, turned out to be a bull's eye. Our format built a new image of the Decathlon brand on television, on the Internet, social media (planning and purchase - K2 Media) and outdoors, and our consistent and long-term communication made Poles love it sincerely.
Using Lowe Media's econometric analysis, The Cathlons was 169% more effective in generating in-store transactions than previous TV campaigns.
